The game

What is Dragons League?
Dragons League is a free multiplayer game that runs in your web browser. You fly a dragon in a shared sky arena, eat glowing orbs to grow longer, use a charged Elemental Breath to slice rivals, and try to hold the Crown as the mightiest dragon.
Is Dragons League free?
Yes. The game is free to play, with no download and no account needed. Nothing you can unlock or buy makes your dragon stronger.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Dragons League runs in any modern browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Open the page and press Play.
Can I play on my phone or tablet?
Yes. On touch screens you steer with an on-screen joystick and use the FLY!, Breath and Ascend buttons. Landscape orientation is recommended.
Which game modes are there?
Three modes are live: Classic (an endless arena where you grow and chase the Crown), Survival (24 dragons, a shrinking safe zone and no Rebirth) and Team Battle (four squads of five with no friendly fire). More modes are planned and marked Coming soon.

Rules

What is Might?
Might is your size, your health and your score in one number. You start at 100, every orb gives +8, and the loot of defeated dragons gives much more. The leaderboard ranks dragons by Might.
How do I defeat another dragon?
Two ways: make it fly its head into a body (yours or anyone's), or hit its head with a Breath charged to at least about 60 percent. A Breath on the body only slices off part of the tail.
Why didn't my headshot finish a big dragon?
Dragons with more than twice your Might have armor. Your first headshot cracks it instead of ending it. For the next five seconds, any headshot from anyone finishes the cracked dragon.
What is Spirit and how do I refill it?
Spirit is the energy your Breath uses. It does not refill on its own: you earn it by eating orbs, and bigger orbs give more. A landed headshot also refunds one full shot.
What is Ascension?
Ascension is a golden power-up you can use at 800 Might with a full Spirit bar. For up to 10 seconds you fly faster, your Breath is wider and cuts deeper, and your headshots ignore armor. Afterwards you are Exhausted for 20 seconds.
How does the Crown work?
The mightiest dragon above 400 Might wears the Crown. A challenger needs 6 percent more Might than the holder to take it. When the Crown holder is defeated, it drops extra loot as a bounty.
What happens when I die?
In Classic, your first defeat in a life brings you back with a Dragon Rebirth: half your Might and a short shield. The second defeat ends your run. Survival has no Rebirth.
Are some dragons or elements stronger?
No. All dragons and all four elements follow exactly the same rules. The difference is only how they look and sound.

Progress, coins and looks

Do I need an account?
No. You play as a guest and your progress is saved in your browser. Clearing your browser data can reset a guest profile.
How do I earn coins?
By playing. Every run pays coins, and so do daily quests, the daily reward, trophies and levelling up. Coins are never sold for real money.
What can I unlock with coins?
Dragons, gadgets and access to the Survival and Team Battle modes. Everything you unlock is cosmetic or a way to play – none of it adds strength.
What are gadgets?
Gadgets are looks for your dragon: a trail, a name chain, shades, a hat and a victory celebration. They only change how your dragon looks.
Can I pay to win?
No. Might, Spirit, speed, damage and hitboxes are the same for every dragon and every look.

Help and contact

The game feels slow. What can I do?
Close other heavy browser tabs, use full screen, and make sure your browser is up to date. On phones, a stable Wi-Fi connection gives the smoothest game.
How do I report a bug or a player?
Write to us from the contact page with what happened, when, and your player name. Screenshots or short clips help a lot.
How is my data used?
