A learning path
If you are new, read the guides in this order and play a few runs between each one – the game teaches as much as any page.
- Fly and grow. The beginner's guide and the controls page get you through your first runs without crashing into bodies.
- Dodge before you shoot. Learn to read the dashed aim line. Most new players lose more Might to Breaths they did not see than they win with their own.
- Slice, then headshot. Quick slices are cheap and feed you orbs. Headshots come once you can predict where a head will be.
- Manage your bars. Spirit decides how often you can attack; Ascension decides how you finish the biggest fights.
- Play for the Crown. Once you can survive at 800 Might and more, the Crown guide shows how to take it and keep it.
