ONLINE GAMES TO PLAY WITH FRIENDS

Short answer: the best online games to play with friends are free for everyone, run in a browser so nobody has to install anything, and let you join the same match with one link. Dragons League does all three: open it with the PLAY FREE button above, send your friends an invite, and fly together in a minute.
What makes a game great with friends
- Everyone can join. If one friend has a phone, one a Chromebook and one a gaming PC, a browser game works for all of them.
- Nobody has to pay. A group game stops being fun when one person has to buy it first.
- Joining is one step. A link or a short code – not friend requests, launchers and matching versions.
- You can play on the same side. Teaming up is what makes a group session memorable.
- Rounds are short. Somebody always has to leave early. Short rounds mean nobody ruins a long match.
Three ways to play with friends in Dragons League
| Mode | How it feels with friends | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Classic | A shared open arena: grow side by side, hunt the Crown together | 2 friends, relaxed |
| Team Battle | Four squads of five, no friendly fire, a shared score, four minutes | 2–5 friends on one side |
| Survival | 24 dragons, a shrinking zone, one winner | Friendly rivalry |
Team Battle is the one built for groups. Your Breath passes through your own squad, so you cannot hurt each other, and friends who use the same invite are placed in the same squad.
Get everyone in the same match in a minute
- Choose your mode on the main menu.
- Press INVITE A FRIEND. The game prepares a link and a six-character code.
- Send the link in your group chat – or read the code out loud on a call.
- Everyone opens the link (or types the code) and presses play. You land in the same arena.
Nobody needs an account. The full walkthrough, with what to do if an invite fails, is in how to play Dragons League with friends.
Group tactics that actually work
- Crack and finish. A giant's armor turns the first headshot into a crack; for a few seconds after that, any headshot finishes it. One friend cracks, another finishes.
- Build a wall. In Team Battle, two long squadmates side by side make a corridor rivals cannot cross.
- Feed the smallest. Let the friend with the least Might eat the orbs a fight drops – the squad score goes up for everyone.
- Go after the Crown together. The biggest dragon is dangerous alone and very beatable as a group. See the Crown guide.
- Talk. "Aim line on you, turn left" saves more lives than any setting.
Ideas for a games night
- Warm-up: ten minutes of Classic so everyone learns the controls.
- Main event: three Team Battle matches in the same squad.
- Final: one Survival round, every friend for themselves. Loser picks the next game.

Quick questions
Can friends on phones play with friends on computers?
Yes. Everyone plays in the same arenas whatever device they use; phones get a touch joystick, computers use the mouse.
How many friends can play together?
In Team Battle a squad has five dragons, so up to five friends can share one side. In Classic and Survival, as many friends as the arena has room for can join with the same invite.
Does it cost anything?
No. Playing is free for everyone. Survival and Team Battle give a few free matches and then unlock with coins earned in play – and an invite from a friend lets you join their match even before you unlock the mode.
