HOW TO PLAY DRAGONS LEAGUE WITH FRIENDS

Short answer: open Dragons League, press the invite button, and send your friend the link or the six-character code. They click it, and you both fly in the same arena – no download, no account and no waiting room. This guide covers the details, and which mode is best for a group.

Invite a friend in four steps

  1. Pick your mode on the main menu: Classic, Survival or Team Battle.
  2. Press INVITE A FRIEND. A window called Play with a friend opens. The game finds the arena you will fly in and prepares a link and a short code for it.
  3. Send it. Press SHARE LINK (on a phone the share sheet opens; on a computer the link is copied) or COPY CODE. You can also read the six characters out loud.
  4. Take flight. Your friend opens the link, or types the code under Got a code from a friend? and presses JOIN. You both press play and land in the same arena.

Nobody needs an account. Guests can play together exactly like registered players, and progress is saved separately for each of you.

Link or code?

Both do the same thing. Use whichever is easier at that moment:

Codes are made of letters and digits that cannot be confused when you say them aloud – there is no zero or letter O, and no one or letter I. If a code expires, just press the invite button again to get a new one.

Which mode for playing together

Locked mode? Survival and Team Battle give a few free matches and then unlock with coins you earn by playing. An invite from a friend lets you join their game even if you have not unlocked that mode yet – the link is signed by the game server, so it only works for the mode it was made for.

Team Battle: staying in one squad

When you invite a friend to Team Battle, the invite carries a shared party marker. It pairs up whoever joins first with whoever joins next, so friends who use the same invite end up in the same squad instead of being split across the four colors. The match is four minutes long, or ends earlier if one squad wipes out all the others.

The lobby waits a little longer for invited friends – up to a minute from the moment you join, and never more than 90 seconds in total – so that a friend who is slow to click is not locked out. Empty places are filled so every squad starts complete.

Tips for playing as a group

  1. Use the crack-and-finish. A giant's armor turns the first headshot into a crack; for five seconds any headshot kills it. One friend cracks, another finishes. Details in the Elemental Breath guide.
  2. Make a wall. Two long squadmates flying side by side in Team Battle form a corridor that rivals cannot cross – and your own Breath passes through your squad harmlessly.
  3. Share the loot. Fights drop orbs. Let the friend with the least Might eat first; a bigger squad score helps everybody.
  4. Agree on a bigger target. Whoever wears the Crown carries a bounty. Going after it together is much safer than alone – see the Crown guide.
  5. Talk. A voice call or chat is more useful than any setting: "aim line on you, turn left" saves runs.
